Jordan Brand and Nike's "Mighty Swooshers" Collection Expands with a Furry Pink Swoosh-Equipped Air Jordan 1 Low

Jordan Brand and Nike‘s anime-inspired “Mighty Swooshers” collection has gained a new member, namely the Air Jordan 1 Low in a multi-toned pink makeup. Using a variety of pastel pink shades across its upper while also presenting a unique Swoosh and special outsole ornamentation, this low-cut Air Jordan 1 seems to provide a detailed nod to female anime characters.

The upper’s first pink shade is an ultra-faint blush that’s used on the mudguard and midfoot. Next is a medium bubblegum pink that’s placed on the toebox, bottom eyestays, collar and heel. Last but not least is a punchy coral pink that makes its presence felt on the top eyestays and the tongue’s lace keeper.

Signature detail is provided by the Swoosh, which is covered in a fuzzy, shaggy material and done up in coral pink. Outsoles add a dashing embellishment as well, with a colorful print centered around a large anime eye. Further branding is supplied by the white nylon tongue’s tonal Jumpman logo, Michael Jordan‘s #23 on the above-mentioned lace keeper and an OG Air Jordan ball-and-wings logo on the heel. White midsoles with light blue stitching round off the look.

Expect the Air Jordan 1 Low “Mighty Swooshers” in pink to release via Nike SNKRS China August 13, priced at ¥849 CNY (approximately $131 USD).
