The Weeknd Provides Update on 'After Hours' Followup: "It's a Full Body of Work"
Adding that he’s “really proud of this one.”

The Weeknd has shared several updates in regards to his forthcoming album, which he confirmed is “a full body of work.”
Taking to Twitter to share some info, the XO Records head revealed that he’s “really proud of this one” and that he’s “massaging it now, being sweet to it. giving it some tlc.” Other tweets about the project read “we gettin’ there” and “just so there’s no confusion, it’s a full body of work,” adding that “the tour is gonna be MADNESS.”
His upcoming record will mark the followup to his stellar After Hours release. The Weeknd previously stated that the album cycle of After Hours is over, “Like I said before, the After Hours are done and the dawn is coming.” He also shared in April that he created something special while in quarantine, which was supported by a September 2020 interview where he said, “I might have another album ready to go by the time this quarantine is over.”
