This Reebok Question Mid Colorway Recalls Allen Iverson's Time With Team USA
His #4 jersey number is placed on the lower heels.
Memory Lane is one that the Reebok Question Mid has been traveling down quite frequently as of late as it has appeared in nostalgic collaborative colorways with the the likes of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and Candy Land. Its next act is doing the same, but this time it’s tapping back into its basketball roots for a Team USA-inspired colorway inspired by Allen Iverson’s playing days when he suited up for the red, white and blue.
Patriotic in every sense, the hybrid lifestyle and hoops kicks are crafted with nubuck that makes up the mid-foot along with crisp white leather panels atop the toe boxes and the heels and mesh/synthetic tongues, all of which are dyed with a “Vector Navy” hue. To further express its USA-friendly motif, the interior liners are drenched with a potent red hue while the leather heel windows and toe boxes are dripped in a crisp “Footwear White”. Vector logos that sit on the side panels also color-block between navy and red accents and come bordered by metallic silver stitching. Lower heel badges which usually display a “3” have been modified with a “4” to pay homage to his jersey number when playing for the American squad.
Peep an in-depth look here above and note that these will be dropping on July 31 for $150 USD via Reebok. Given that the Tokyo Olympics are slated to go down this Summer, the release of these kicks couldn’t be more timely.
