Packer's adidas Consortium Ultra4D Is a Masterclass in How to Collaborate
Serving the UltraBOOST 1.0-style Primeknit upper in “Forest/Navy” alongside “Milky White” tones for a crisp collegiate aesthetic.

Packer knows a thing or two about collaborations and how to pull them off, and its latest take on the adidas Consortium Ultra4D is no exception.
Following on from the duo’s first Ultra4D (which also happened to be the very first Ultra4D collaboration itself), this pair takes a more historically-informed, somewhat collegiate approach that’s inspired by the forever in style, rather than a palette that’s contemporary and fit for now.
As a result, a combination of “Forest” and “Navy” grace the upper of an UltraBOOST 1.0 that’s, of course, paired to adidas’ signature 4D sole unit. This appears in “Milky White,” which lends itself to the heel cage and Three Stripe segment of the shoe that locks the similarly-toned laces in place.
Aside from this, you’ll find a re-engineered webbing stripe on the tongue and heel, with the former leading to a red triangle housing the Packer “P” logo and continuing on into the inside of the shoe where there is further Packer branding. Rounding out the shoe is the “Forest” green pigskin suede mudguard, red aglets, and a blue Continental rubber outsole.
Overall, the collaboration goes to show that — yet again — Packer knows how to pull one off, and that the Ultra4D silhouette is incredibly diverse. We’ve had dozens of Packer collabs over the years and a strong handful of Ultra4D reworks, but this is destined to become a future-classic and one that is designed to stand the test of time, no matter how the trends move.
Packer will be dropping this collaborative adidas Ultra4D exclusively on its website and in-store on July 16 at 11 a.m. ET. No official word has been said on the price, but it’s highly likely to be the same as the first collab at $250 USD.
