Closer Look at the Off-White™ x Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% "Pink Glow"
Virgil Abloh taps back into the realm of the Swoosh’s running catalog.
There’s certainly some conversations going around the sneaker community that Virgil Abloh and Nike are “doing too much” when it comes to collaborative footwear products, especially with the forthcoming 50-piece Dunk collection. However, that’s certainly not going to affect their momentum as both parties have plans in place to launch an abundance of new styles in the coming months, one being this Off-White™ x Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% “Pink Glow”.
This makeup was first previewed back in October 2020, and now it has revealed further detailed imagery. For this impending installment, Abloh applies a color story that’s very vivid and “in your face”. Knitted uppers are given rife with vibrant hues from purples and reds on the lateral walls to bright pinks on the medials. Swooshes have been fashioned with an almost hand painted-esque aesthetic on both side walls, the medial arriving in oversized fashion. As usual, the Off-White™ signature Helvetica branding is printed on the midsoles that feature the standard “AIR” hit along with the usual Beaverton branding on the medial sides in black. Other elements to call out include the lace tips that feature bold blue dip-like accents, the exposed Zoom bags which are tinted to a volt green and the outsoles which have been bolstered with spikes for track purposes.
No official release info has been announced just yet, but early reports have these slated to drop on July 23.
