Nike's "Best Day Ever" Imagines a Better Tomorrow for Sports
Featuring Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Lebron James and Serena Williams.
In addition to Nike‘s Play New campaign, the footwear giant has launched an inspirational film titled Best Day Ever, suggesting a future for sports that’s full of ambition and a new generation of athletes.
With a strong emphasis on the creativity and inclusivity of the community, the film shows how powerful sports could be in shaping a better tomorrow. Featuring Nike elite athletes such as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Diede de Groot, A’ja Wilson, Lebron James and Serena Williams, Best Day Ever imagines the future of sports: “Tomorrow, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce becomes the first woman to run 100m in under 10 seconds. Tomorrow, wheelchair tennis legend Diede de Groot debuts her namesake video game. Tomorrow, A’ja Wilson convinces world leaders to declare sport a human right.” Despite envisioning athletes’ achievements, the company also highlights the importance of the invitation to pursue something you’re curious about, moving from an idea to action.
