There’s a boatload of classic Nike sneakers that have seen revivals on the market in 2021, and one that has been soaking up plenty of the spotlight is the Air Huarache. The classic silhouette — which was designed by the great Tinker Hatfield — has been offered in many a different colorway this year from collabs with Stüssy to original bring-backs, and now it’s being specially made in a new colorway that celebrates SNKRS Day.

The palette of this lifestyle-centric rendition is mostly reliant on a stark black tone which wraps the inner bootie and the laces. Sitting at center stage are wild brown and black cheetah patterns which drop off along the mid-foot’s overlays. Vivid accents of a pale yellow and red also provide strong pops of color, the former of which dyes the toe boxes while the latter appears on the Huarache tongue logos and sides of the heel cages. The medial sides of the cages echo its celebratory theme by printing out “8.8.21” — the date of SNKRS Day — in black. Additionally, the “Got ‘Em” phrase that pops up on your mobile device screen when you win a SNKRS launch is stamped onto the insoles.

Be on the lookout for these to drop on August 8 exclusively via the SNKRS app in Europe.
