HBO Max has unveiled the slate of programming coming to the streamer in August 2021.

Next month’s list is led by Warner Bros., DC and James Gunn‘s highly-anticipated film The Suicide Squad, which hits HBO Max and theaters on the same day. The forthcoming title has no connection to David Ayer’s 2016 offering, but does star some of the same actors including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. The Suicide Squad will also see Idris Elba as Bloodsport, John Cena as Peacemaker and Sylvester Stallone as the voice of King Shark.

Other new additions to the streamer in August are Lisa Joy’s sci-fi thriller Reminiscence, both versions of The Great Gatsby, the documentary Obama: In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union and the third season of Titans.

Take a look at the new films and TV shows coming to HBO Max in August 2021 below.
