New Balance’s retro-inspired 237 has had a busy 2021. After finding itself at the heart of two collaborations alongside French label Casablanca, the retro runner has been re-released in an array of color combinations as a part of the brand’s ongoing mainline releases.

Now, alongside British retailer size?, the 237 returns with a summer-ready makeover that includes a perforated base to keep feet cool amidst sweatier climates.

Light gray suede overlays take centre stage on the upper, while the brand’s bold lateral “N” logo filled with a slightly darker tone appears on the side. Tongue and heel branding remain in their respective positions, while an embroidered size? logo on the insole reminds wearers of the collaborative release.

Sat atop a gray rubber outsole, the New Balance x size? 237 is set to drop on August 6 and will be available from the retailer’s online webstore.

In other news, Joe Freshgoods has teased his latest New Balance “Outside Clothes” collaboration.
