Netflix's 'Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild' Arrives This Summer
A 58-minute CG film based on the epic franchise.
Netflix has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild CG anime along with its release date.
Based on CAPCOM‘s epic franchise, the new film will run for 58 minutes and follows a young hunter by the name of Aiden — drawn from the two games Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter: World — as he discovers the imminent threat of an Elder Dragon against his village. Hoping to protect his home, the boy joins Julius, an expert hunter and member of the Hunter’s Guild, alongside his companions to confront the beast.
The project itself was directed by Pure Imagination Studios’ Steven F. Yamamoto and stars Ben Rausch, Erica Lindbeck and Dante Basco. Ultimate Spider-Man veteran Joshua Fine penned the script, and Ryozo Tsujimoto, Kaname Fujioka, Takahiro Kawano and Andrew Alfonso all serve as supervisors.
For fans of the franchise, Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild arrives on Netflix August 12.
Elsewhere in entertainment, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga has finally ended its hiatus.
