Madhappy and Vault By Vans Ready Second Style 43 LX Collaboration
Featuring a fold-down heel and “friendship-bracelet” style beads that lets the wearer customize their shoelaces.
Just a month after their first collaboration, Madhappy and Vault by Vans have readied another iteration of their customizable Style 43. Combining the classic look of a Vans canvas skate silhouette with signature Madhappy detailing, the shoe presents a darker-toned look than its predecessor but fully retains its fun-loving nature.
Uppers are constructed of navy canvas and embellished with white cross stitching running along the toe and heel seams. A red Madhappy logo is embroidered on the tongue, and the white laces are accompanied by “friendship-bracelet” style beads that let aspiring artists customize their shoelaces. In an interesting twist, the heel features a fold-down build that enables the shoe to be worn as a mule if the wearer desires enhanced ease. White midsoles are trimmed with a red foxing stripe, and finishing touches are supplied by kelly green insoles plus baby blue outsoles.
Look for the Madhappy x Vault By Vans Style 43 LX to release exclusively on the Madhappy webstore come July 13 at 12pm ET. A retail price has yet to be announced.
