Luka Dončić's Upcoming Air Jordan 36 PE is Revealed
The Mavs-friendly colorway is presented with his new logo.
Since officially signing with Jordan Brand back in December 2019, Luka Dončić has continued to develop into one of the most lethal and unguardable scorers that the modern NBA era has ever seen. And while he’s clearly deserving of a signature shoe, Jordan Brand is first providing the Slovenian baller with special player exclusives, one of which is this Air Jordan 36 that has just been unveiled.
There’s two important elements of this iteration: the colors and his new logo. The color-coordination of this hardwood-ready offering is expressive of the Dallas Mavericks, especially the team’s City Edition threads. Knitted materials that forge the lower half of the upper along with the synthetic mid-foot strip and leather tongues and collars are treated with a bold and bright blue and come accented with a hint of teal that applies to the thin mold that surrounds the throat and lips out towards the back. The throats split between the Jumpman logo on the right shoe and Dončić’s new insignia that reimagines his “LD” initials and “77” uniform number, both of which stand out in white. Midsoles are predominantly decorated with white backgrounds and black speckles, but come paired with a minty teal mold. Icy outsoles round off its design.
There’s still no word as to when these will officially drop, but it’s likely that SNKRS and other retailers will release them in the coming months.
