Kanye West is Hosting a 'DONDA' Album Release Party on August 5
His manager confirmed the news to HYPEBEAST.
Following reports that Kanye West would be hosting another DONDA event at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, a representative for the rapper confirmed the news to HYPEBEAST.
Abou “Bu” Thiam told HYPEBEAST that the event is being billed as a “DONDA album release” event and will take place on August 5.
West premiered his new album to a sold-out crowd in his birthplace of Atlanta on July 22, ahead of what was supposed to be the album’s official release. However, West delayed the release of the album, with some saying he wanted to give fans “the best possible product without rushing” the drop.
West is currently holed up in the stadium putting the final touches on the new tracks.

The album features some notable guest appearances from Pusha T, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, Pop Smoke, Roddy Ricch and a special reunion with JAY-Z.
Thiam referenced the upcoming event in a cryptic post on Instagram.

In other news, Atlanta officially dubbed June 22 as “Kanye West Day.”
