Expected to help celebrate the 35th-anniversary of the Air Jordan 2, we are now learning about a rumored release date for the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low. Revealed by early information and a first look, the next chapter in Virgil Abloh‘s ongoing Nike/Jordan Brand partnership sees the designer reinterpret the underappreciated footwear model.

Set to arrive in “White/Red” and “Black/Blue,” the design of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low is centered around aged detailing and deconstruction marked by bold branding.

The collars and tongues of the shoe prominently feature the exposed foam construction in line with previous Virgil Abloh collaborative sneakers. Jordan Brand markings are accompanied by Michael Jordan’s signature on the later sides, Helvetica medial side text, zip-ties, “SHOELACES” marked lacing and printed insoles. Finally, the shoes are elevated by sole units that replicate the look of yellowed crumbling soles associated with vintage sneakers.

The Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low is now expected to release in “White/Red” and “Black/Blue” September 23, with early pairs available now via GOAT.

For more footwear news, raffle winners are now receiving Travis Scott’s Sony PlayStation x Nike Dunk Lows.
