Nike Dunk Low "University Red/White" Supplies Inverted Style
By flipping the colorblocking of the OG “University Red.”

Nike‘s summertime parade of Dunk Lows is seemingly endless, and the latest pair to appear is a new “University Red/White” colorway. Essentially a flipped take on the OG Dunk Low “University Red” — a color scheme with roots that reach all the way back to 1985’s famed “Be True To Your School” Dunk pack — the “University Red/White” serves up inverted style for a fresh-yet-familiar look.
Many a Dunk Low uses the same colorblocking scheme: signature shade on the mudguard, eyestays, Swooshes, heels and heel tabs, secondary tone (usually white) on the toeboxes, quarters and collars. Here, that’s switched around as the primary “Varsity Red” shade takes up residence on toeboxes, quarters and collars while “White” fills in the rest of the gaps. Apart from the Swooshes, further branding appears on the heel tab and the nylon tongue’s fabric tag. Insoles add a hit of “Total Orange” and white midsoles work with red outsoles to round off the look.
At the time of writing, an official release date for the Nike Dunk Low “University Red/White” has yet to be announced. However, it’ll likely arrive to market before the end of the year and be priced at a standard $100 USD.
