Easily the strongest and most prolific silhouette in the arsenal of Jordan Brand right now, the Air Jordan 1 is in preparation to fire out a handsome batch of new installments in the forthcoming months. One of those variations is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bordeaux” which has finally be previewed by way of early imagery.
This elevated take atop the classic basketball-turned-lifestyle model leans on a trio of tones for styling. Tumbled leather panels are stationed along the quarters, toe boxes and collars, all of which are dialed to a solid white, while its neighboring overlays, laces and interior liners are splashed with a rich “Bordeaux” hue. For more notes of contrasting, the Swooshes on the sids as well as the traditional ball-and-wings insignias that are embedded into the ankle flaps are drenched in metallic silver, the latter being presented with black font. Shifting focus to the lower components of the kicks, the midsoles are bereft of any coloring and come coupled with outsoles that are dyed in more of its nominal shade.
An official launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s likely that SNKRS and other retailers will be dropping these in the coming months.
