Nike Dunk High to Release in "Light Chocolate"
A fall-friendly colorway, likely arriving towards the tail end of summer.
It’s understandable if you’ve had your fill of the Nike Dunk this year. The one-time hoops classic turned lifestyle favorite has become the focal point of Nike Sportswear and Nike SB‘s releases to a somewhat extreme extent in 2021, but if you’ve got some room for dessert the Dunk High is set to release in a delectable “Light Chocolate” colorway at the end of summer.
Though this high-cut Dunk is indeed a Sportswear style, its material blend and color scheme alike are reminiscent of the SB Dunk High. Dark brown nubuck is used on both quarter panels and the collar, while bone-colored suede graces the toebox, heel and collar flaps. Swooshes appear to be split between a duo of tones and materials, starting with white leather before giving way to bone suede as the quarter shifts to the heel. Sandy brown leather arrives on the mudguard and the eyestays, with rich pops of forest green serving up flair on the nylon tongue’s fabric badge and the small heel tab. Down below, white midsoles and brown outsoles round off the look.
Nike has yet to announce an official release date for the Dunk High “Light Chocolate,” but early reports have it earmarked for an August arrival. The MSRP will likely be set at $110 USD.
