'Microsoft Flight Simulator' is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass

The beloved Microsoft Flight Simulator game is coming to Xbox Series X|S on July 27 and is available now with Xbox Game Pass for PC, Windows 10 and Steam.
The longest-running game franchise at Microsoft has been embraced by fans for nearly four decades, and allows gamers to test their piloting skills across a range of aircraft and in a variety of weather conditions.
“With the power of satellite data and cloud-based AI, you’ll travel the entire planet in amazing detail with over 37,000 airports, 2 million cities, 1.5 billion buildings, real mountain ranges, roads, trees, rivers, animals, traffic and more,” the game’s description reads.
The game was launched on PC last year and Microsoft has continued to add in free World Updates, themed DLCs and true-to-life aircraft. The company says it will continue to work with third-party partners to brings additional peripherals to Xbox Series X|S to enhance gameplay.
In addition, Microsoft has added a free Top Gun: Maverick expansion to the game in partnership with Paramount Pictures to celebrate the upcoming release of the new film on November 19.
