WACKO MARIA Taps 56 Tattoo Studio for SS21 Collaboration
Delivering bold shirts with “demon skull” graphics.
After teaming up with WOLF’S HEAD on a collection inspired by 1950s American-wear with Japanese aesthetics, WACKO MARIA is back with a brand new collaboration with 56 Tattoo Studio. The Spring/Summer 2021 capsule features a selection of Hawaiian shirts and long-sleeve tees portraying the tattoo studio’s signature “demon skull” character across the front portions.
The open-collared Hawaiian shirt is an expansion of the Japanese label’s ongoing offerings of graphic versions utilizing the American silhouette. The long-sleeve tee is originally inspired by a traditional Japanese kimono for men, but with a contemporary twist as the clothing option features buttons going down the front portion. All items arrive in black, navy, beige and white color options with co-branded details.
Check out the partnered items above and then head to WACKO MARIA’s website for more details. “MARIA HANKYU MEN’S TOKYO” and WACKO MARIA authorized dealers will stock the capsule in the coming weeks. The price is ¥42,900 JPY (approx. $391 USD) for the Hawaiian shirts and ¥38,500 JPY ($351 USD) for the long-sleeve shirts.
