Along with an official worldwide premiere date.
On Monday, Apple TV+ simultaneously revealed the worldwide premiere date and new trailer for its highly anticipated original series Foundation. The new series marks the first on-screen adaptation of Issaac Asimov’s award-winning novel under the same name.
David S. Goyer, known for writing screenplays for the Blade trilogy, The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel and more, is behind the show as executive producer. The cast is a sci-fi lover’s dream — starring Emmy Award nominees Jared Harris (Mad Men and The Expanse) and Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy) in addition to Terrance Mann (Critters) and Alexander Siddig (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). The series also stars Alfred Enoch, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn and Cassian Bilton.

Foundation follows the strife of a group of scientists who set out to rebuild and preserve human knowledge after calculating when civilization will cease to exist. Constructed with an elaborate score, captivating visuals and gut-wrenching emotions, Apple TV+ brings Asimov’s pages to life with top-of-the-line production components.
Exclusively on Apple TV+, the first three episodes of the 10-episode first season debut worldwide on September 24. Following the initial release, each new episode will debut weekly, every Friday.
