First Look at $580,000 USD Jacob & Co. Fast & Furious Twin Turbo
Part of the watchmaker’s long-term deal with Universal Pictures.

Jacob & Co. has revealed a first look at the limited-edition watch it is creating to celebrate the Fast & Furious film franchise.
Just like the over-the-top series, the Jacob & Co. Fast & Furious Twin Turbo will be based around the brand’s larger-than-life Twin Turbo Furious family of watches.
The dial of the watch echos the first race of the original 2001 film complete with “a starting girl with checkered flags, behind her are hot rod cars ready to bolt – one American muscle, the other a supercharged import.”
Set in between the watch’s twin, triple-axis tourbillons is a power reserve indicator in the style of a fuel gauge.
If that were not enough the Twin Turbo also features a monopusher chronograph, with a pusher to start, stop and reset the chronograph integrated into the crank-style crown.
But much like franchise mainstay Ludacris, the Fast & Furious Twin Turbo is musical too, boasting a rarely heard decimal minute repeater that chimes the hours, tens of minutes and then minutes in different tones.
The watch’s JCFM05 manually wound movement comprises of 832 individual components, which will be housed in a 57mm by 52mm forged carbon case, itself comprised of 88 parts.
“Our Twin Turbo Furious is such a natural fit for the Fast & Furious franchise,” says Benjamin Arabov, CEO of Jacob & Co. “Not only the name of our watch, but the whole emphasis on speed and being exceptional. Jacob & Co. has been in many important and successful partnerships, but we have never partnered with an entity that so closely fits our DNA. The new Fast & Furious Twin Turbo Furious watches are going to be awesome.”
The watch is limited to nine pieces to mark the latest, ninth instalment, F9, and will drop via Jacob & Co. on June 25, the film’s US release date, priced $580,000 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, De Bethune looks to a return to international travel with $105,000 USD GMT watch.
