Chaos Splashes Paint All Over RIMOWA's Essential Cabin Suitcase

For most of us, traveling is back on the schedule for this summer, and Chaos x RIMOWA is here to make sure you do it in style. Introducing their inaugural collaboration, Chaos (the London-based accessory and lifestyle brand helmed by Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall) has teamed up with German luggage masters RIMOWA on its classic Essential Cabin suitcase and a range of complementing accessories.

Kicking off with the suitcase, we find unique takes that have livened up the Essential Cabin in a way that’s never been done before. Typically, you see RIMOWA’s pieces finished in distinctively grooved aluminum, but here the polycarbonate bodies are colored in white or black before being spattered with “Saffron Yellow” or “Cactus Green” paint drips.

Both are finished with matching wheels, handles, zippers, and badges, while co-branded leather luggage tags embossed with a globe that aims to capture the collaboration’s essence also appear on the suitcases. They come with a range of stickers for further individualistic styling.

Further making these carry-ons stand out is the additional luggage harness, which fits over the suitcase like a body vest and comprises satin nylon straps and pockets that hold in-flight essentials (laptop, bottles of water, etc) in place for easy access. Rounding out the collaboration is the range of “collectible” tags made from leather and chenille, allowing you to add a fried egg, a green apple, and a “chill pill” to your already lively luggage, as well as a range of city-inspired luggage tags.
