Bart Simpson Tags Up 'The Simpsons' x adidas Advantage "El Barto"
Bringing cheeky flair to a run-of-the-mill-silhouette.
The Simpsons‘ partnership with adidas has encompassed everything from Duff beer to Krusty Burgers, but for its latest effort it’s saluting Bart Simpson — more specifically, his penchant for graffiti — with the new Advantage “El Barto.” As the Advantage is a rather run-of-the-mill silhouette known for a palatable price point and simple colorblocking schemes, it seems only fitting that its sterile build serves as a canvas for Bart’s hijinks.
Uppers are made of white leather, and the unbranded lateral quarter supplies a signature detail: Bart himself, spray can in hand, glancing over his shoulder as he spells out “El Barto” in dripping black letters. The medial side is significantly less rebellious, opting for a tame perforated Three Stripes graphic.
Heels boast a black tag with a Bart-centric skull and crossbones graphic, while tongues supply co-branded The Simpsons and adidas Originals hits. Yellow insoles match the shoes’ yellow box, and the look is completed by a straightforward white midsole with an embossed adidas hit plus a white outsole.
