Bungie Keeps Its Word to Fans and Releases 'Destiny' Toaster
“It’s almost time to get that bread.”
Bungie has just released the pre-order to a new small home appliance in the form of a Destiny toaster.
Last year, Bungie announced that if the Destiny Community was able to raise $777,777.77 USD for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, they would release an official Destiny Toaster. Well, the Destiny Community was able to raise over $800,000 USD for the hospital and Bungie is making good on its word.
The toaster references the Jötunn rifle which is ofted called a toaster and the “let’s get this bread” phrase that players will often use when doing a loot run. The toaster features a full Burnt Edges makeover, a Tricorn emblem toast mark, and an accompanying sandwich holder.
The Desntiny Toaster is available now for pre-order over at Bungie’s webstore for $85 USD where 10 percent of sales will go to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Shipping is expected to take place between December and January.
