Bruno Mars is making history yet again with the latest news from RIAA: the multi-GRAMMY-winning artist is officially the first artist to ever achieve diamond certifications for five singles.

Mars took to Twitter to thank his fans after hearing the news writing, “Love you hooligans. Thank you for rockin’ with me throughout this incredible journey. We’ve only just begun.” Throughout his music career, Mars has had various hit singles including “Just the Way You Are,” which has been certified 12x platinum, “Uptown Funk!” and “When I was Your Man” with 11 platinum certifications and “That’s What I Like” and “Grenade” with 10.

In a statement from RIAA’s CEO, Mitch Glazier said, “This milestone is a testament to Bruno’s unstoppable creative genius and the incredible partnership he has built with the team at Atlantic Records. What Bruno has accomplished is just extraordinary. Fewer than 60 Diamond Single Awards have ever been awarded – and Bruno now has 5 of them!”

His latest song as one half of Silk Sonic, “Leave The Door Open” continues to climb atop charts as it recently returned to the Billboard Hot 100 charts earlier last week.

In other music news, Lil Wayne, Birdman and Roddy Ricch drop new “STUNNAMAN” music video.
