Bamford London has dropped a trio of watches featuring famous Sesame Street characters on their dials, including Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster.

“Who doesn’t love Sesame Street,” says George Bamford, Founder of Bamford London. “The brand has reached far and wide, and we are so happy to partner with Sesame Street and have these iconic characters on the dial of our watches. We love the wonderful nostalgia these characters provide and the splash of fun and colour which can brighten up your day when you look down at your wrist.”

Bamford is known for his love of playful cartoon character watches, having released both Popeye and Snoopy watches in recent months.

The new watches see Big Bird taking over Bamford London’s GMT dual timer, while Cookie Monster owns the Mayfair Date and Elmo takes a starring role on the Mayfair Sport.

Bamford will be producing 20 pieces of the 40mm yellow and black Big Bird GMT, which features a Sellita SW330-2 movement, priced £1,600 GBP ($2,255 USD).

The striking blue Cookie Monster Mayfair Date is a 50-piece limited edition, waterproof to 100m and featuring a Swiss Ronda 715 Date quartz movement, priced £475 GBP ($670 USD).

The final watch in the collection, a Mayfair Sport, hands a starring role to Elmo, Sesame Street’s eternal optimist, who is surrounded on the dial by musical notes and encased in a bright red high impact polymer case, bezel and rubber strap.

The 50-piece run uses a Miyota quartz movement, is water resistant to 100m and is priced £400 GBP ($560 USD). All of the watches, which drop today via Bamford London, are presented in a textured yellow Big Bird-style presentation box.

Elsewhere in watches, Steve Aoki and Bulgari drop the ultimate clubbing watch.
