Young Thug and YSL Records' 'Slime Language 2' Debuts at No. 1
Justin Bieber, The Weeknd and Pop Smoke also appear in this week’s top 10.
Young Thug and Young Stoner Life Records‘ latest album Slime Language 2 is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1.
The compilation record takes the chart’s top spot as it earned a total of 113,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 106,000 in streaming equivalent album units (142.68 million on-demand streams for the tracks), 6,000 in album sales and 1,000 in track equivalent album units. This marks the label’s first No. 1 debut as a group after its 2018 predecessor opened at No. 8, and is Thugger’s second chart-topper after So Much Fun.
Elsewhere on the chart, Taylor Swift’s new version of Fearless steps down to No. 2 followed by Morgan Wallen, Justin Bieber and Eric Church at Nos. 3, 4 and 5. Making up the bottom half of this week’s top 10 are Rod Wave at No. 6, Greta Van Fleet at No. 7, The Weeknd at No. 8, Dua Lipa at No. 9 and Pop Smoke at No. 10.
