WACKO MARIA has made a statement in this first half of the year with its collaborations, especially on the footwear side where it has linked up with Vans and PRO-KEDS for music-inspired collections. Keeping this strong push going, the Japanese imprint is now reconnecting with the workwear mavens of Dickies to craft a new apparel collection for SS21.
Included in this new range are a handful of short-sleeved workwear shirts that come with matching shorts. Leading the way are the leopard-printed shirts and shorts sets, all of which are designed with the identical white/brown/black and brown/black hues as the brand’s recent pouch bag project with PORTER. In addition, the brand helmed by Atsuhiko Mori also teamed up with the classic stoner comedy duo Cheech and Chong for two shirts. Navy and black colorways are on deck, each of which bear a Nice Dreams logo and the pair’s namesake spelled out across the left side of the chest — a nod to their 1981 film. Both pieces also have matching shorts in the collection.
Check out a closer look at each garment right here, and note that this collection launches on April 24 via WACKO MARIA.
