Early Look at UNDERCOVER's Nike Dunk High "UBA" Collaboration
Jun Takahashi applies classic black and red color-blocking on his next Swoosh offering.

An avalanche of Dunks that fall under the Nike‘s collaborative and GR categories will be launched to the public throughout the remainder of 2021, and one of the projects that is included in this year’s roll out is UNDERCOVER‘s Nike Dunk High “UBA” capsule. Official release info has not yet been announced, but we do have an early glimpse at the collection’s black and red makeup.
For this newest variation of the 1985 silhouette, Jun Takahashi reinterprets its upper with a slightly higher collar and elongated tongue. Smooth black leathers make up the Swooshes and the overlays while a Bulls-esque red is injected into the tumbled leather collars, quarter panels and toe boxes. Pure white accents are also brought in atop the laces, co-branded tongue tabs and the UBA embellishments — short for UNDERCOVER Basketball Association — that cling to the lower lateral heels. Additionally, more UNDERCOVER branding is printed on the medial panels towards the lower back end. Midsoles — which have been beefed up in stature — come painted with stark white backgrounds and black speckle ornamentations from front to back.
Peep a first look at the pair here above, and expect these to likely release to the market in the latter half of 2021.
