NN07 Adds Signature Navy Details to Timex M79
The Danish label puts its own spin on the model.

Following its recent link up with BEAMS, Timex has unveiled an all-new collaboration with Copenhagen-based label NN07. The collaboration focuses on the M79 model, which has been infused with NN07’s design aesthetic with the brand’s signature navy color featuring prominently.
The black and navy design contrasts against the woven stainless-steel bracelet and exhibition case back — a nod to 1970s Timex designs and NN07’s ethos of taking our time — while a subtle navy dot is added on the 7-hour marker as an NN07 signature. Other features include an automatic self-winding movement with date and day functions, a 40-hour power reserve and water resistance to 50 meters.
Launching the collaboration, NN07 said, “It is with great honour we at NN07 took the task of imprinting our DNA into a Timex classic. We were really smitten when we first saw the newly released M79 sporting the navy NN07 look and feel.”
Take a look at NN07’s take on the Timex M79 in the gallery above. The watch is due to release on April 29, and will be available from the NN07 web store. The collaborative M79 is limited to just 777 pieces, each of which is individually numbered and comes in a recycled cardboard box inscribed with NN07’s “Take Your Time” slogan.
