Nike Dunk High EMB Lakers DH0642-001 Release Info

Classic models from Nike continue to be the most popular among the sneaker community at the moment, but perhaps the silhouette that is garnering the most attention is the Dunk. A plethora of new colorways are slated to hit the shelves throughout 2021, one being this Nike Dunk High EMB that is styled for die hard Laker fans.

Upper layers of this forthcoming installment alternate between canvas and smooth leather materials. The former — which constructs the toe boxes and underlays — is sprayed with a stark black, while the latter is shown off on the overlays that are dyed in a muted purple. The most alluring element of these kicks is the Nike branding that has been embroidered onto the lower parts of the heel as they are presented with Lakers-inspired font with yellow outlines. This needlework design cue possibly correlates with the model’s moniker as EMB may be short for “embossed”. More LA-esque yellows pop out through the leather Swooshes as well as on the snapback hat-inspired tongue tags. Rounding off everything below is a clean white midsole and all-black outsoles.
