Netflix Unveils Teaser and Release Date of 'Selena The Series: Part 2'
Premiering this May 2021.
Netflix has shared a teaser and the release date of its upcoming sequel, Selena The Series: Part 2.
Premiering May 4, the second installment picks up where its predecessor left off and sees Selena on the brink of stardom. “Learning how to handle her newfound success, Selena struggles to balance, family, love, and a burgeoning career. Part 2 of Selena: The Series chronicles the years of hard work and sacrifice the Quintanilla family navigate together as she becomes the most successful female Latin artist of all time,” the logline reads.
Reprising her role as the titular character is Christian Serratos along with Seidy López as her mother Marcella, Gabriel Cavarria as her brother A.B, Ricardo Chavira as her father Abraham, Noemí Gonzalez as her sister Suzette, Jesse Posey as her husband Chris Peréz, Julio Macias as her bandmate Pete Astudillo and Natasha Perez as Yolanda Saldivar, Selena’s killer.
