HUMAN MADE x adidas Originals SS21 Reworks the Forum Lo, Country, Classic Tracksuits and More

All of which draw inspiration from a “future is the past” tagline.

Nigo‘s HUMAN MADE and adidas are continuing their partnership with a SS21 collection made up of new takes on the Forum Lo, Country, adidas Originals tracksuits and more. Centered around a “future is the past” theme, the collection’s pieces mix classic cuts with bold graphic detail and new technology — all spread across familiar white/green, gray/burgundy and navy/yellow/white color schemes.

Footwear is front and center, with both the Forum Lo and Country getting a complete revamp. The Forum Lo retains its familiar upper and signature strap, but swaps out its standard midsole for a full BOOST footbed and basketball tooling. A plethora of branded HUMAN MADE details are present as well, namely heart logos on the quarter, “Dry Alls” on the straps, “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” on the heel clips and printed sockliners. The Country is slightly more subtle — its upper remains largely unchanged, and its midsole is swapped out for an off-road BOOST setup — but its synthetic leather Three Stripe graphics are stamped with “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” hits.

The key apparel pieces are the Firebird track jackets and pants. Jackets feature a reversible construction: one side keeps things classic with zip pockets and standard Three Stripe hits, the other offers a custom look inspired by retro souvenir jackets. Graphic tees, socks, and a headband/wristband pack complete the offerings.

The HUMAN MADE x adidas Originals SS21 collection will begin releasing on the adidas webstore and at retailers like HBX come April 24. Each color scheme is a regional exclusive: white/green is for North America and Latin America, gray/burgundy in Europe and navy/yellow/white in Asia-Pacific countries.
