Apple on Tuesday unveiled a bright new purple color available for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.

Apple made the announcement during its Spring Loaded event.

The purple finish accentuates the flat aluminum edges of the iPhone 12, color-matched to the precision-milled back glass. Both models feature an advanced dual-camera system and an expansive edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR display with OLED.

The phone is powered by Apple’s impressive A14 Bionic chip, the fastest available on the smartphone market, and introduces high-powered wireless charging with MagSafe.

“The new purple finish, just in time for spring, adds another bright and fun option to the lineup,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. The phone currently comes in five other colors — blue, green, black, white and (PRODUCT)RED.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in purple will be available for pre-order beginning on April 23, with availability beginning April 30.

Here are all of the biggest announcements from the Spring Loaded event.
