Apple Drops New iPad Pro Design Featuring Its Impressive M1 Chip

Apple on Tuesday released the designs for its all-new iPad Pro, which features a new look and and an M1 chip that significantly boosts performance.
Apple made the announcement during its Spring Loaded event.
The M1 chip makes the iPad Pro the fastest device of its kind. The 8-core CPU design features the world’s fastest CPU cores, and its 8-core GPU delivers up to 40 percent faster GPU performance. The device also boasts a next-generation 16-core Apple Neural Engine, an advanced image signal processor, a unified, high-bandwidth memory architecture with up to 16GB of memory, two-times faster storage and up to 2TB capacity.
The device also comes equipped to connect to 5G internet speeds, allowing for higher-quality video streaming, and includes support for Thunderbolt. In addition, the new iPad Pro also boasts an all-new Ultra Wide front camera that enables Center Stage, Apple’s new feature that automatically keeps users center during video calls.
The 11-inch model starts at $799 USD, while the larger 12.9-inch starts at $1,099 USD. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a new Liquid Retina XDR display, delivering stunning visuals.
Both models will be available to order beginning April 30 on apple.com and will be available in the second half of May.
