Official Images of the Air Jordan 1 "Shadow 2.0"
One of the most highly-anticipated styles from the Jumpman’s Summer 2021 retro collection.
The Air Jordan 1 is a key piece of Jordan Brand‘s strong Summer 2021 retro collection, and the latest style set for a release is the “Shadow 2.0.” A “second take” of sorts on the beloved Air Jordan 1 “Shadow,” the “Shadow 2.0” offers a compelling blend of black and gray — and is arriving to shelves shortly after the Air Jordan 1 “Hyper Royal.”
Two-tone style is the name of the game on the “Shadow 2.0.” Black leather is used on the toebox, quarter and collar, while smooth gray nubuck graces the mudguards, eyestays, Swooshes, heels and collar flaps. To put it simply, the forefoot and midfoot are a direct flip of the original “Shadow” colorblocking while the heel and collar are true to their predecessor. Apart from the Swoosh, branding is handled by a black ball-and wings stamp on the forefoot plus a gray Nike Air graphic on the nylon tongue’s fabric tag. Down below, the look is rounded off by traditional white midsoles and black outsoles.
Pending official confirmation from Nike, the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0” will release on Nike SNKRS and at retailers like Foot Locker come May 15. The MSRP is set at $170 USD.
