Detailed Look at the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid "Friends and Family" Colorway

2021 marks the very moment that Yuta Hosokawa‘s READYMADE was welcomed into Nike‘s laundry list of impactful collaborators. And after the Travis Scott co-signed imprint delivered a duo of READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid colorways, it has now unveiled a special “Friends and Family” entry.

Much like the wider release installments, this latest proposal keeps many of the similar design cues such as the white and grey camo ankle collars and tongues as well as the angelic toe caps and lower heel paneling, but offers up more vivid accents spread across the base. Perhaps the most enticing feature about the kicks is the mid-foot as the thinned out Swooshes have been splashed with bursts of a sporty blue, while the synthetic side overlays are dialed to a muted grey. More loud accompaniments are evident through the two-toned laces which split between orange and grey, green cords that run across the middle of the throat and the bold red co-branded logos on the tongues.

Bottom halves also adopt similar elements from its predecessors by keeping the clean white foam-y midsoles and Nike ReGrind treading which sport its usual multi-colored and scrappy aesthetic.

A limited amount of pairs are dropping exclusively through Takashi Murakami‘s Kaikai Kiki gift shop and the Zingaro raffle is now live. You can expect these to be dropping on March 6, 2021 for ¥17,500 (approx. $164 USD).
