Mizuno Shifts Its Wave Prophecy X Runner Into Stealth Mode
The high-performance silhouette arrives with an all-black motif.





Following the unveiling of its hybrid sneaker collaboration with beautiful people, Mizuno is now gearing up to introduce the newest member of its running lineage: the Wave Prophecy X. The high-performance silhouette has just surfaced with a full blown stealthy makeover that is solely dependent on greyscale tones.
Construction-wise, this uppers of this newest model dons a full synthetic build that comes decorated with wavy design lines that run from toe to heel along the lateral and medial walls. Higher components of the heels are devised with a breathable mesh while the lower region is locked in place with a glossy heel cup to make for a much smoother aesthetic in comparison to the Wave Prophecy 9 model. Branding on the base layer stands out via the white Mizuno logos that are stamped to the mid-foot as well as the Wave Prophecy X spell out that sits just near the ankle. Other embellishments include the near see-through tongue and heel tabs, as well as the silver strip that overlaps the middle of the throat.
The sole unit is extra aggressive and technical in nature as it’s segmented into six hollowed out windows. Stark black douses the treading and just below the upper, while the middle gradients from grey to white as you peep the shoe from front to back.
