Le Col Brings Cycling’s Biggest Tests to the U.K. for SS21
Combining the idyllic surroundings of Stelvio Pass, with the foggy hillsides of Kent.
In the world of cycling, where you ride holds weight. Whether you’re tackling the Alpine climbs of Galibier or the steep streets of Siena, the sport always puts emphasis on place. Despite the yearn for picturesque surroundings, this last pandemic-filled year has seen cyclists stay a little closer to home, making the most of local surroundings and routes.
Le Col — a U.K. cycling label founded by former GB rider Yanto Barker — set about exploring these restrictions for Spring/Summer 2021, capturing some of cycling’s biggest and most renowned tests — all from the confinement of its island nation.
Mixing the climbs of the French Alps with the lapping waves of the South East coast, and the idyllic surroundings of Stelvio Pass with the foggy hillsides of Kent, Le Col jumped on the rollers and turbos that have helped cyclists over the last year, to capture the reality of the sport in 2021 under COVID restrictions, and to showcase its seasonal offering.
Jerseys, bib shorts, T-shirts, gilets and a host of accessories emphasise the brand’s penchant for design, while a closer look at the fabrics used and the small details that make the difference deliver the performance and innovation side too.
Le Col SS21 is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore.
