It looks like Kia Motors is on the right track in keeping its promise for seven new electric cars by 2027. Its first all-electric vehicle arrives in the form of the EV6 crossover.

This new EV shares the Hyundai Ioniq 5‘s E-GMP platform that sees 220kW charging speeds, potential AWD configuration, a 72.6kWh battery, and a range up to 300 miles. The EV6 seems to have borrowed a few design cues from the Imagine Concept with a distinct elongated rear with aerodynamic rear brake light, side profile lines, and aggressive stance. The EV6 also sees Kia’s signature tiger-nose front.

While this is just a teaser of things to come, with no performance specs just yet to back the images, this first look shows some promise for the remaining six EVs to come.
