Cassio Enlists HERVET Manufacturier for Visual Refresh
The furniture design company co-founded by Daft Punk’s long-term Creative Director Cédric Hervet.
Opening back in 2016, Cassio has served as an extension of the dragon-i group’s continuous development of Hong Kong’s art and culture. Noting the need to transform to better match its operating field as a staple of Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong’s nightlife area, Cassio tapped HERVET Manufacturier for a visual refresh. The Paris-based furniture design company co-founded by Daft Punk’s long-term Creative Director Cédric Hervet and cousin Nicolas Hervet developed in partnership a new interior design and layout for the buzzing space.
HERVET Manufacturier developed a series of exclusive exquisite furniture to bolster the renovation while putting the enhanced experience of music first. Paired with Cassio’s eclectic neoclassical roots, the new diamond-indebted outfittings express a subtle avant-garde atmosphere that leads all the way into the signature patio area.
HERVET introduced a new lighting system and custom DJ booth, surrounded by walnut wood, turquoise velvet and thin brass tube accompanying seating the updates the layout of the space. The diamond-shaped tables are crafted of innovative Krion and can be raised and lowered to reflect the tone of the night faithfully carrying HERVET’s vision of the renewed Cassio. The distinct future-forward elements offer a convertible nature that allows Cassio to transform as the night progresses with the dance floor dictating the pace.
The new layout works with Cassio’s advanced d&b Audiotechnik audio mixing system that has developed its signature auditory experience of house, soul, afro, nu-disco and more. While a new mix of alcoholic provisions and Spanish snacks from Chef Salva Benedicto effectively round up the new experience of dragon-i group’s celebrated establishment.
