TIME has unveiled its 2021 TIME100 Next list, naming the individuals who are leading and shaping the future.

The 100 names are spread across five categories: Artists include the likes of Euphoria star Hunter Schafer, rapper Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, John David Washington, Florence Pugh, LaKeith Stanfield and Phoebe Bridgers, Phenoms include Amanda Gorman, Doja Cat, Regé-Jean Page, Anya Taylor-Joy, Koyoharu Gotouge, Davido and Luka Dončić, Leaders include Vanessa Nakate, Sanna Marin, Raphael Warnock and Vijaya Gadde, Advocates include Marcus Rashford, Jessica Byrd, Paloma Elsesser and Julian Brave Noisecat and Innovators include Telfar Clemens, Chloé Zhao, Anthony Ramos, Olugbenga Agboola and Omar Tate.

“Amid a global pandemic, deepening inequality, systemic injustice and existential questions about truth, democracy and the planet itself, the individuals on this year’s list provide “clear-eyed hope,” as actor, composer and director Lin-Manuel Miranda puts it in his tribute to poet and TIME100 Next honoree Amanda Gorman,” TIME Editor-in-Chief and CEO Edward Felsenthal wrote. “They are doctors and scientists fighting COVID-19, advocates pushing for equality and justice, journalists standing up for truth, and artists sharing their visions of present and future.”

Take a look at the full TIME100 Next list on the TIME website.
