2 Chainz Performs NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert Set in His Nail Studio
Also sharing his gratitude to Black leaders that inspired him and the world.
Just after Rick Ross‘ energetic NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert performance, 2 Chainz is next in line for the series’ Black History Month celebration.
Set up in his high-end nail studio, Pamper, Tity Boi used the space to perform a stellar five-song set and share his gratitude for Black leaders. “There are a lot of people who have been moving the needle forward for Black people. And they have been for some time,” he said, naming the likes of Tyler Perry and Puffy as some of the figures that have inspired him and the world.
The College Park, Georgia rapper was joined by Tyler Sherard on bass, Alex Turner on drums, Josh Sneed on guitar and Mark Polynice on keys to perform So Help Me God! cuts like “Southside Hov,” “Grey Area” and “Vampire” and older tracks like “Good Drank” and “I’m Different.
