Nike Releases the Air Zoom Type With Bold "Volt" Uppers
The Swoosh’s N.354 sub-label welcomes a vibrant iteration into its arsenal.

Nike and its N.354 division have been proactive about dropping a handful of conceptual-themed iterations lately, especially for new silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 Experimental and the ever-popular Offline sandal. And now the Swoosh is bringing light to another one of its lifestyle-ready members — the Air Zoom Type — to launch in a near-blinding “Volt” colorway.
The silhouette, which also recently surfaced with playful, buttoned-down overlays, switches gears here to be crafted with a louder theme. Eye-catching in every sense of the phrase, the low-profile offering sports a full ripstop upper that is covered in bright “Volt” and is stationed alongside solid black accents that smear over the Swooshes, sock liners, tongue and heel tabs, and throat overlays in which the bright white laces loop through.
Chunky double-stacked midsole units color-block the heightened layer with colorless exteriors, and show off an exposed Air unit within the forefoot that has been dyed to match that of the upper. Stacked below is a waffle outsole that completes the design in all-black.
If interested, you can cop these now via select retailers like 43einhalb for €150 (approx. $182 USD).
