Louis Vuitton's Temporary Residency on Rodeo Drive Highlights Upcycled Apparel
Offering visitors a chance to meet Zoooom with Friends.

Fresh off its Fall/Winter 2021 presentation, Louis Vuitton is launching another round of its traveling Spring/Summer 2021 pop-ups, this time in one of its favorite American cities: Beverly Hills. Offering fans a chance to peruse a variety of exclusive goods, the “temporary residency” is overseen by the Zoooom with Friends characters created by men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh.
Visitors will be able to play with the colorful cartoon characters in Snapchat by scanning QR codes located on site, inviting them further into the world of Louis Vuitton before they even step through the façade. Once inside, however, there’s even more to explore, including new recycled garments from the seasonal collection.
The on-hand selection encompasses various menswear pieces reiterated from Fall/Winter 2020, some that are crafted from upcycled materials and “new looks created from existing ideas,” Louis Vuitton explains in a statement. Furthermore, guests can peruse select items from the new pre-collection before they hit stores.
The Rodeo Drive temporary residency debuts at Louis Vuitton’s exhibition space in Beverly Hills on February 6 and runs until March.
Louis Vuitton most recently remixed Abloh’s LV 408 Trainer sneaker as a tall sneaker-boot silhouette.
