A better look at the upcoming Pokémon x Levi’s collection has just been revealed. Just days after teasing its colorful denim jacket, a full lookbook arrives showing some of the other key pieces from the collection.
On top of the teased Vintage Fit Garden Trucker Jacket, which comes with matching 551Z straight-leg jeans, an additional trucker jacket/jean combo featuring Pikachu will be released. This set sees a vintage washed denim ensemble with large Pikachu embroidery at the back and front with the addition of Poké Ball and lightning bolts at the shoulders and forearms. The collection offers a good mixture of items for a wide variety of tastes, from graphic tees, caps, and even small carrying accessories.
Karyn Hillman, Chief Product Officer at Levi Strauss & Co. comments: “It’s a lot of fun to hear people talk about their love for Pokémon. Everyone has their favorite Pokemon, so this time we have the opportunity to create a collection with many iconic Pokemon and characters. What I got was a really special experience. This collection is very emotional, respecting and celebrating the world of Pokemon. It’s very cool to mix our icon and history with their icon. It was a wonderful experience. It was nostalgic, optimistic, and a bit of an escape from reality.”
Priced from ¥2,000 – ¥16,000 JPY (approximately $19 – $150 USD), look for the full collection to drop on February 15.
