Hiroshi Fujiwara Shares Look at Apple-Designed Face Mask
Developed by the engineering and industrial designers behind the iPhone and iPad.
Continuing to offer looks at the latest and greatest, Hiroshi Fujiwara recently shared images of the face masks that Apple designed during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to Instagram, the Godfather of Streetwear highlighted the minimal packaging and design of the reusable face masks. Developed by the engineering and industrial designers behind the iPhone and iPad, Apple’s special personal protective equipment was created specifically for employees.
YouTube channel Unbox Therapy revealed in an overview video that the masks come individually packaged in 5-packs and fit better than traditional surgical masks. Each covering features three layers of material that effectively filters out particles and can be washed and reused up to five times. The PPE created for employees is just the latest in Apple’s efforts to combat COVID-19, last year the company also donated 10 million face masks to healthcare professionals.
