A Cast of Tiny Models Showcase Awake NY and Shaniqwa Jarvis' Collaborative Tee and Tote
The shirt, appropriately, comes in adult and child sizes.
Reuniting after last year’s Social Studies event, Awake NY and artist Shaniqwa Jarvis have come together on a concise collection. Comprising a few different colors of T-shirt and matching tote, both printed with one of Jarvis’ photographs from 2020, the apparel is nearly upstaged in a lookbook filled with stylish kid models.
Like Jarvis’ collaborative Converse Chuck Taylor, a snapshot of a flower is key to this joint effort. Here, Jarvis’ floral picture is printed at the front of white, black and blue T-shirts, with co-branding printed at the rear. The black tote bag sports matching prints. These are all highlighted by the lookbook’s stylish youths, all putting their own spin on the versatile apparel.
Expect the Shaniqwa Jarvis Capsule to launch on Awake NY’s website February 12 at 11 a.m. EST and at the Hong Kong’s Awake NY community store, Belowground.
