ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer 21 To Launch in a Duo of Neutral Makeovers
The SportStyle runner is slated to launch in “Birch” and “Black”.

Following the reveal of its collaborative collection with Chemist Creations and the launch of its HS1-S Tarther Blast designed by Kiko Kostadinov Studio, ASICS is primed to push out more sneakers this month such as the brand new GEL-Kayano Trainer 21. The SportStyle runner has been uncovered in two minimally-dressed colorways, one being a “Birch” rendition while the other is a “Triple Black”.
Constructionally, the shape and materials aren’t all that unfamiliar than from what we’re used to seeing from a usual runner designed by the Japanese sportswear brand. However, these low-slung takes are materialized with pigskin nubuck exteriors and perforated underlays that bring about a more lifestyle-intended aura to them.
The first offering is entitled the “Birch” colorway, and for good reason considering that this titular hue covers the base layer entirely and serves as the backdrop for the FluidRide-cushioned midsole. Exposed foam that is housed within the midsole offsets with bursts of orange to match up with the insole’s branded logo.
Its release sibling certainly falls on the darker side of the color wheel as it is completely flooded in black. From top to bottom, the shoe is dressed with stealthy skins, only deviating in shade by the nature of its materials such as the plastic caging, nubuck uppers and glossy cushioning down under.
Interested in copping? Both pairs will be releasing via ASICS and select retailers on February 11 for $150 USD a pop.
Elsewhere in footwear, two more ASICS GEL-Preleus colorways have just surfaced.
