After kicking off 2021 by collaborating with Études, Parisian footwear label Adieu has now released more of its reworked formal shoes. The latest drop features the Type 159 loafer silhouette, which has been finished with Adieu’s signature oversized sole unit — inspired by British creeper shoes — and comes in a range of colorways.

Based around the classic penny loafer silhouette, the Type 159 silhouette features the signature strap across the leather upper. This detail is complemented with gold Adieu branding on the footbed of each shoe. The entirety of this upper sits atop Adieu’s injected rubber sole, giving the shoe an oversized construction.

Take a look at the Type 159 from Adieu in the gallery above. Black and “Gold Brown” colorways are available now from the Très Bien web store.
